SkyANN Event: Atoms to Bits: The AlphaBet of Intelligence v2.0, Manchester, UK – 25th-26th February 2026.

SkyANN co-organises the second edition of the ongoing event series that connects the spintronic and neuromorphic communities. The 2-day brain-inspired computing workshop targets research and industry at the intersect of advanced materials, unconventional and neuromorphic computing systems and brings them together to network and discuss challenges. 

The workshop, which is organised by the Horizon Europe SkyANN project in collaboration with the Neuro∑ky Team includes invited talks from leading researchers and specialists from industry, panel discussions, a poster session and networking opportunities. This event marks the second in the event series ‘Atoms to Bits’.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Invited Talks: Hear from leading researchers and practitioners on the latest breakthroughs in spintronics, memristive devices, and neuromorphic chips and architectures.

Panel Discussions: Engage with a diverse panel of experts as they examine the role of neuromorphic computing in the UK and internationally, highlight key barriers to adoption, and envision paths forward for academia and industry.

Networking & Collaboration: Connect with leading experts in neuromorphic AI hardware from universities, spinouts, and industrial R&D labs.

Poster submissions are invited, including early-stage research, student contributions and industry-led work.
